CASA ATICA presents in Brazil the reissue of CAPITOL OFFICE CHAIR Ca. 1950:
It is an iconic piece from Pierre Jeanneret's collection for the administrative buildings of the city of Chandigarh, designed by his cousin, the architect Le Corbusier.
CAPITOL OFFICE CHAIR features a structure in solid wood and natural thatch from India woven individually into each chair, double inverted "V" legs that support the arms, a typical feature included in the pieces by Pierre Jeanneret and in the structures of the buildings designed in time by his cousin Le Corbusier. The floating back is a characteristic detail of this piece.
